The Opportunity

Nigeria is rich in generosity and social capital.

Every day, individuals, families, companies, foundations, faith communities, diaspora networks and community associations give significant resources to help others. Yet much of this giving remains fragmented: episodic, disconnected, difficult to scale.

At the same time, millions of capable women and young people remain excluded from the capital, skills, markets and opportunities required to build sustainable livelihoods.

The challenge was never a shortage of generosity. It is the absence of structures sufficient to organise, deploy, measure, recycle and scale social capital sustainably.
